On the Magneto-static Equilibrium

Abstract

As it was pointed out by A.Simon, a set of equations governing the well-known magneto-static equilibrium do not yield an unique solution. The problem may be solved by making use of the following London equation, j=e² (1/m_e+1/m_i) nA,
where j is the current density, m_e the mass of electron, m_i the mass of ion, n the number density of electron and A the vector potential.
