Plasma Confinements in Torodal System

Abstract

The general principles of magnetic confinements of high temperature plasma in toroidal systems are introduced according to the theories given by C.Mercier and V.D.Shafranov. and so on.
Recent topics in this field are also reported, for example, on maximum beta of stellarator plasma as well as Cleftron (Ohkawa, G.A.) Dracon with CREL (Shafranov, Kurchatov) and Multipetalous Asperator (Nagao, Tohoku Univ.)
