Abstract
A powerful numerical method for nonlinear eigenvalue problems and for boundary value problems is developed based on a shooting scheme using the new numerical method HIDM (Higher order implicit difference method). Numerical stability of the shooting scheme is achieved by “tournament multi-divided shooting” method.
The method is applied to several problems and proved its good performance.
