Recent Trend of Plasma Diagnostics Using Scattering/Interferometer Technique

Abstract

Recent research and development on plasma diagnostics related with the scattering/ interferometer technique are surveyed. In particular, the alpha particle dianostics using the collective scattering with the X-mode radiation and the polarimeter for measuring the current density profile in high density and field tokamak plasmas are described.
