Abstract

MHD fluctuation level in RFP plasma is reduced from a simple model that MHD relaxation and sustainment of RFP configuration are caused by the reconnection of lines of magnetic field driven by (m=0, n=1) mode nonlinearly excited by multi m=1 internal kink modes. Then the lines of magnetic forces becomes stochastic by the MHD fluctuations and the energy transport of RFP plasma in such situation is studied.
