We analyzed the outcomes of 60 cases undergoing full endoscopic circumferential decompression surgery for lesions in the lumbosacral intervertebral foraminal stenosis. The average operation time was 136.5 minutes, and the Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score improved significantly from preoperative 12.4 points to postoperative 23.4 points. The visual analog scale (VAS) for lower limb pain decreased from 7.8 before surgery to 1.9 after surgery, and the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) showed a significant improvement from the preoperative average of 43.7% to 12.2% postoperatively. Overall, the treatment outcomes were generally favorable. However, there were 8 cases with poor outcomes, and instances of local scoliosis progression were observed frequently. Factors associated with the progression of local scoliosis included locations other than L5/S1, and cases where joint formation was present in the decompression site.
