Abstract
This presentation shows application of computer graphics, especially visualization technology to analysis of genome information and gene functions. In order to obtain effective information from huge genome data, many techniques based on artificial intelligence or image recognition are studied. However, especially about recognition capability, even when it is easy for human, there are many difficult cases for computer. We aim at acquiring effective information efficiently by division of work with a computer and human by using CG and visualization technology. As an example, a visualization method of plant growth based on video sequences of growth process is introduced. Display methods for clustering results and non-photorealistic rendering techniques are also introduced.
