Abstract
The National Institute of Agrobiological Sciences (NIAS) has established the Rice Genome Resource Center (RGRC) to facilitate the distribution of new types of biological materials generated from the rice genome research project. These include ca. 50,000 Tos17 insertion mutant lines, ca. 30,000 rice full-length cDNA clones and materials for genetic analysis derived from various crosses between japonica and indica rice varieties. These resources could be very useful for functional genomics. Details are available at http://www.rgrc.dna.affrc.go.jp/ index. html.
