Abstract
RIKEN BioResource Center (BRC) takes over the project of the Sendai Arabidopsis Seed Stock Center (SASSC) and starts distribution and preservation of the Arabidopsis accessions under the National Bio-resource Project (NBRP) supported by Japanese government (http://sassc.epd.brc.riken.jp/sassc/create_search_panel2.php?mode=general). The natural accessions must adapted themselves to the environment by natural mutations. Thus they are useful tool to elucidate the relationship between environmental adaptations and evolutional changes in the genome.
In this study, we focused on a morphological data by recording photographic images of natural accessions that were grown under 16 h light at 22 degrees celsius periodically. Much morphological variations among the accessions were observed. We regard that the data will be useful for research communities, and are going to prepare database which contains the images.
