Abstract

Since you cannot see what will happen in the future in what place at what time, information on the future can be obtained only by "imagination". Imagination makes images, which have no logical order. You can become "conscious" of anything as an image at any time. Therefore it is difficult to be "conscious" of it by words, namely to put inorder.

We usually try to explain "consciousness" by words, but I tried to show the random image consciousness and the consciousness arranged on the time system by words, in the form of complex number by making them correspond to "imaginary number i" and "real number r" on Gauss plane respectively.

By this process, I think, the role of "idea formation" and "physical thinking in Zen" is elucidated and a hint is given for the mathematical positioning of "consciousness after death" indicated as -r.
