Abstract
In early modern period, Edo Era of Japan, it was believed that strange RSPK-like phenomena occurred around a maid employed from Ikebukuro village (now Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo) or Ikegamivillage (now Ikegami, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) when her master had sexsual relations with her. Although some critics suggested they might have been made by young men of the village, a few reports indicate bona-fide paranormal phenomena.
