Abstract
The author gives the general treatment of successive orientation of models from the stand point of analytical method. By applying the above, he derives the equations to get errors in successive orientation as the functions of observational errors of photographs for relative orientation. As an expample for small relative orientation elements, he gives the case of treating two adjacent models, each of which is a mathematical grid plate oriented by six point method, and analyses the errors with numerical discussions, such as those of scale factor, model co-ordinates and the discrepancies at pass points which are common to the adjacent models.
