Abstract
For a large-scale structure to be constructed in a natural environment, a detailed pre-evaluation for the resultant exterior of the structure, including beauty of form, color, texture and visual hormony with the environment, is becoming another important aspect of the design process as well as the pursuit of economy and security of the structure.
However, “beauty”and“harmony”are problems too subjective to be deal with quantitatively.
This paper describes an approach to be the production of Color photo-montage which provides a conccrete measure (form, color, texture, harmony with the environment, etc.) . Then the realization of Color photo-simulation technique in which schematic colors and textures of the structure can be arbitrarily modified utilizing the Color Photo-montage is discussed.
