Abstract
It is familiar to take ground temperature by far-infrared data remotely sensed from aircraft. The principle is not so complicate, because every material emits the own radiant energy from its surface. Hence, if the energy is caught and compared with some standards, the surface temperature becomes clear. Two troublesome barriers, however will occur in usual when trying to get the accurate temperature. One is a problem how to assign the emissivity of objectives and another is the transfer mechanizm of the electro-magnetic wave in the atmospere. It is so hard work to solve these problems rigourously that many researches have been conducted so far. An actual method to know ground temperature by far-infrared data acquired by aircraft sensor will be explained in this report.
