Abstract
The bundle adjustment with self calibration is being utilized as the best method in aerial triangulation methods. However, error model in self calibration is not yet evaluated, though about ten error models have proposed by various photogrammetrists.
In this study, comparison amongst nine error models which include a error model proposed by the authors, has been made for two different test data, that is, aerial photo data taken by aerial survey camera in the test field of Rheidt in West Germany and terrestrial photo data taken by 35 milimeters non metric camera in the test field established in the Geographic Survey Institute, Ministry of Construction.
From the result of the study, the error model proposed by the authors can be said as the similiar level with the best model, that is, the model with highest accuracy.
