Abstract
The authors have previously explained the objectives of the study to develop a kite balloon camera system with 35 millimeter servo-controlled camera through which stereo photographs can be taken from a height of up to 800 meters, and to establish the methodology for three dimensional measurement and remote sensing.
Since publication of the forementioned report, as a result of subsequent research, it has been established that this system can be adopted in a great variety of applications, and a report is being made here on the repeated improvements in the photographic equipment, the mounting of a monitoring device, improved control over the positioning of the camera, the significant advances made in the overall functions of the system, and in the development of a method for controlling the movements of the kite balloon.
