Abstract
A KFA1000 space photo was compared with a SPOT image for same test site, and characteristics of both images were evaluated. Photo interpretation and power spectral analysis proved that the KFA1000 photo has more high spatial resolusion than the SPOT image. In case of enlarging digital image, such as SPOT image, Cubic Convolusion method is suggested to sharpen the image. Shading and small scratches were found on the KFA1000 film. The scale of the film was found to be larger than the specification due to the satellite alltitude variation.
