Abstract
When a planet forming solar nebula encounters a passing star nearby, orbits of planetesimals in the outer region of the solar nebula are dynamically disturbed significantly. It is suggested that the stellar encounter may cause the characteristic orbits of Kuiper belt objects today. Considering the stellar encounter and disturbed planetesimals, in this study, we examined whether or not bow shocks, which are appropriate for crystallization of dust particles due to the shock-wave heating in the bow shock, are generated in front of eccentric planetesimals. It was found that some planetesimals having certain orbital elements can form bow shocks that can crystallize silicate dust particles in the gas.
