Abstract
Alpha Ray Detector (ARD) will be on-board SELENE. The ARD investigates the gas emission on the lunar ground through alpha particle observations. We will discuss about 1)estimation of Rn distribution, and 2)calculation of the background due to cosmic ray to evaluate the spatial resolution and sensitivity.
