Abstract
The cause of the focal distribution of deep moonquakes (extending east-west direction on the Lunar surface) is not explained up to the present. It is important for us to understand the distribution because they are resulted from a state of the deep interior of the Moon. In addition to a difference of crustal thickness of nearside and farside of the Moon, we assumed that a temperature difference of two sides and calculated mantle convection to interpret the focal distribution.
