Abstract
A study of the home surroundings of juvenile delinquents indicates the following common feature affecting the formation of their personalities : The parents are strongly concerned with their own convenience and do not give sufficient consideration to the needs of the child vis-à-vis his society. In consequence, such children grow up without sufficient capacity to adjust in terms of social value standards.
