Abstract
The liver cirrhosis (LC) 76 example was made the study. The comparison of the portal circulation and the waveform of the hepatic vein evaluation by dopplex sonography. As for the portal circulation, main portal venous flow volume, splenic venous flow volume, congestion index (CI), splenic venous fow volume / main portal trunk flow volume ratio (S/P ratio). Waveform of the hepatic vein was classified more than the existence of the pulsatile flow pattern without a reversed phase, continuous flow pattern in 3 TYPE. The results were as follows ;
1) TYPE III recognized increase more than TYPE I, II in splenic venous flow volume, the S/P ratio.
2) TYPEII , III recognized increase more than TYPE I with CI.
3) A change in the waveform of the hepatic vein had relations with the change in portal circulation and thought about these with the thing due to the progress of LC.
4) It is useful for the diagnosis of the chronic liver disease to do measuring of portal circulation and waveform of the hepatic vein by dopplex sonography.
