The evaluation of the bond performance of Deformed Flange T-shapes through pull-out test focusing on the number of projection surfaces

Abstract

The bond performance between the projecting surface of Deformed Flange T-shapes(DFT) and concrete has been verified through a relative comparison of DFT and reinforcing bar D51 (D51)using pull-out tests, and it has been confirmed that DFT has bond performances better than D51. However, there are no cases where the bond performance of DFT has been verified using the number of projecting surfaces as a parameter. This paper reports on the effect of the number of bonding surfaces on the bonding performance of DFT, based on the results of DFT pull-out tests and a relative comparison with D51.
