Abstract
The aim of this study is to investingate the psychological process of constructing color combinations. Subjects were asked to make up the harmonious color combinations. As the indicator of analysis, the number of trial, the time required and tested sample colors were measured. As the results, much individual differencies are found in the constructing procsess, and four types are extracted. The type of many trials and long thinking is satisfied their own products. But the type of few trials and short thinking is not satisfied. The types of trial and the type of producted color combination are not correlated.
