Abstract
Research into the relation among the sets of cognitive element concerned with an image word is executed using rough set theory. In the case of car styling, it is cleared that the sets of cognitive element concerned with 'family' image are connected each other with such a relation as a kind of chain. This suggests that we cannot reason what categories pattern corresponds to a specified image word with only one regression analysis model, and we have to develop a new algorithm which involve the diversity of chain-1ike sets ofcognitive element.
