Abstract
This study specifies the gaze element which contributes to characteristic of urban landscape.The examination place is different 6 street in Kyoto, which different 3 street of a scene regulation (gion motoyoshi-cho, gion nisino-cho and gion sueyoshi-cho) and different 2 street of examination time (daytime and nighttime).Subjects looks at a photograph of each street of 15 spots divided every 9m, and describes the gaze element.The gaze elements are classed by perception position, perception unit and a kind.As a result, difference of characteristic of an element between day and night and difference of recognition of group element and single element became clear.
