Abstract
ETC (Electronic Toll Collection ) system is that you can pass a tollgate without stopping on highway, and that will be arrenged recently in Japan. Objective of this study is investigation of tollgate design of ETC. At First, we researched into that what is ETC, secondly, we considered about that what is gate, next, established condition of this Investigation. Composition of ETC lane is main part of this study, After consideration we extracted four design categories, and then we made model of ETC tollgate. as aresult of comparing two situation of ETC lane, the situation that man-existed lane remains at both ends is better than another situation.
