Abstract
Ritsumeikan University is now providing the education "Environment & Design institute" in the faculty of engineering in collaboration with the faculty of business administration and the faculty of economics. The point deserving special mention in the educational programs is the distribution (mixture) of academic disciplines; 60% of science and engineering and 40% of economical management, marketing, environmental science, theory of policy, law, space design, etc. In the collaborative workshop with the design-management seminar of the faculty of business administration, the frame work of concept and the evaluation of design itself has been efficiently improved.
