Abstract
In the evolving information media, the newspaper has not changed greatly, and the image has been fixed in the history. The reserch on the approach for a better newspaper has been done, but there has been no innovation to the image of the existing newspaper. In order for the newspaper to also survive as an important media, "the free design" not caught by the existing newspaper system is required. Therfore this reserch pays attention to portability which is the character of the newspaper. The man who reads a newspaper in the train was used as the target, and an innovative newspaper design was proposed.
