Abstract
The purpose of this study is to make a model that shows the relation between the design evaluation words and the form elements through the case study of mobile phones, and to apply the model to the product design. To obtain the adaptability to a design concept, the designer combines a huge form elements by trying and erring, at this time he has relied on his intuition. For this kind of study, a linear recursive model is used so far. But we confirmed that the model to uses Rough set theory is effective for the design work, because the latter model can show these pattems of cognitive parts of products that suit the design concept.
