Abstract
This is one of the results of a series study, color image survey in Asian countries. This paper reports study result of vivid, pale and dark tone color image perceived by Asian country students, including Taiwan, Japan, Korea and five cities in china. Results show that there are basic similar feelings toward different tone colors among subjects, nevertheless the Country, such as vivid color is active, pale color is passive and soft yet subtle differences exist too. The researchers assumes the former is the basic mutual color feeling and the later is the cultural influence imposed on subjects.
