Abstract
This study is the observation and analysis of bathing aspects in the elderly people of the welfare center. At first, I divide the bathing aspects into bathtub type and the shower type, and compare the two types. As a result of analysis, shower type is more fit to elderly people than bathtub type in sanitary, safety, and convenience. But there are some problems remain in shower type. To resolve these problems, I propose the new design of shower nozzle. Number, position and the angle of the shower nozzle are main factors to improve the safety and convenience of bathing in elderly people. Additionally, I find that control the water pressure by shower nozzle generate a massage effect, which is useful way to promote the health of elderly people.
