Abstract
The problems of prefabricated houses are both uniformity of the appearance image by standardized and massproduced building materials and which are called the flood of the housing design on account of flexibility. In this research, we analyzed "structure of the image about house exterior" and "influence of the image on housing conditions and the building department materials" The result will be useful for concept planning of housing design and economical application of materials. The image is mainly composed of feeling of the present age, grade, and atmosphere. The element that influences a classification most greatly is a style whole image, building area, and texture and color of an outer wall.
