Abstract
Assuming that the application of compressed wood to furniture, fittings and the floor material, this research did measurement about hardness of the compressive formed lumber of the Japanese Cedar.The ordinary lumber of the Japanese Cedar and the Japanese Beech were done in the experiment at the same time, and those performance was compared.As that result, l/2 the compressive formed lumber of the Japanese Cedar, it was found that it was about equal to hardness of the Japanese Beech.As for the application to the above case, it is presumed all the more extent using grain.
