Host: Japanese Society for the Science of Design
This paper proposes an Ikebana support system considering sense of beauty. The system operates based on the framework of interactive evolutionary computation. If a design matches the aesthetic criteria, it is considered as a beautiful design. We also evaluate designs due to their novelty. A little change of the whole design affect its beauty. We considered the beauty features and applied them to the proposed system. It has sufficient number of kakis and kazais: the number of kaki is 21 and that of kazai is 298.
