Our purpose in designing packaging for Amaou strawberries produced in Fukuoka Prefecture for long-distance transport is to retain freshness to the place of consumption while preventing damage to the product. Utilizing data detailing condensation formation, internal oxygen concentration, and carbon dioxide concentration during transport, we propose a package design that assures adequate breathability while minimizing product damage. Based on favorable results from transport tests, we believe our A- and B-type packages are highly marketable for use as strawberry packaging for online sales, individual delivery, direct sales to consumers, domestically shipped gifts, and export.
