We researched into habits and tastes related to local foods in Bessho district. Subjects of the research were tourists who lodged at 5 hotels in Bessho Spa at the end of the last year. Images of Bessho Spa were added in the research items. Data acquired from research of habits and tastes were analyzed by Quantification 3, and the whole subjects were classified into 6 clusters using cluster analysis. Features of the subjects as total and of each cluster were extracted through the analyses, and they are to be useful for local food planning, public relations, and revitalization of tourist industry in Bessho district.
