We compared the evaluation criteria for the landscape of factories, bridges, and historic buildings, between tecnoscape fans and non-fans. The subjects were asked to evaluate pictures of factories, bridges, and historic buildings by using 15 pairs of words including like-dislike. We performed a multiple regression analysis between like-dislike and other evaluation criteria, and the results showed that like-dislike in technoscape fans was explained by a greater number of criteria than that in non-fans. Non-fans evaluated factory landscapes with less diversity of the evaluation criteria than technoscape fans, and they applied the same criteria to evaluate all kinds of landscapes. Our study showed that we evaluate a landscapes with diverse evaluation criteria as we like the landscape more.
