Research which adds emotion to character by fluctuation and the color of light

Abstract

Text messaging is essential when we communicate with each other throughdigital media.  Compared with face-to-face communication and voicecommunication, text messaging is difficult to convey non-verbal informationand understand the sender’s feelings.  The purpose of this research is to finda new type of text messaging with waves of light and color.  We conductedan experiment to find out whether text messages with blinking light and colorsimulate direct contact information between sender and receiver.
