Research of the communication tool for the visually impaired person using the participatory design

Abstract

In late years the design varies from the design of "the thing" to the design of "the experience". Therefore, participatory design is prosperous. However, the method to involve the visually impaired person is not established. This study thinks about a method to involve the visually impaired person. In addition, I open up a participation type workshop using the method, and visually impaired person oneself performs the suggestion of the communication tool for the visually impaired person.
