A Full Scale Reproduction of Le Corbusir's Le Petit Cabanon in Cap-Martin.

Comparison with the Japanese Human body proportion and Modulor.

Abstract

In 2010, we have measured Le Corbusir's Le Petit Cabanon in Cap-Martin. Based on this data was produced on our campus a replica of Cabanon. In addition, we examined the relationship between the Japanese human body proportions and Modulor of Le Corbusier.
We will show below the findings of this study.
1. Furniture is designed in accordance with the Modulor.
2. Modulor is a measure based on the human dimension.
3. We considered can be used to design and easy-to-use furniture to make basic height of his stature Modulor.
