Abstract
The Kurosawa hut is the mountain hut of the Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music mountaineering club built in the Kurosawa Heights, Omachi, Nagano Pref. in December, 1960, and the design depends on Gakuji Yamamoto. The hut reach the 55th anniversary from construction in December, 2015. This study focuses on the Kurosawa hut which is one of the design works that there is few it which Yamamoto who was a eminent scholar (history of modern architecture, building tectonics, building criticism) rather than an architect left, and, above all, We are going to clarify this study about the scientific value particularly design studies-like value about the hut.
