Abstract
Active touch is the sense which forms by voluntary movement. For example when a fingertip touched a thing, the sense forms. This research pays attention to this sense. There are two purposes in this research. One is development for the user interface device it's possible to get operational feedback from which by the user's active touch. It’s called “Ridge Line User interface”. Another one is development for the design method through practice of designing the device. This article shows design concepts based on points of view "Katachi to act","expression to consider by pivot".
