The Education of Video and Digital content Production through the regional contribution activities

An example of Project Based Learning conducted in cooperation with local industries

Abstract

We conducted continuously the collaborative education programs with local industries in Fukuoka and accomplished certain results by variety of activities. In recent years, several activities use video or digital media as a tool of regional industry promotion. In 2015, a project was launched as one of these activities aimed at the development of Hakata-Ori and Okwa Furniture industry. In this study, we summarize the result of the project and discuss the educational effectiveness of project based learning.
