Abstract
Our purpose was to examine how design education affects expression in drawing from music imagery. We investigated appreciator's performance of a task to match imageries from music and drawing. For the drawer and appreciator without design education, on the one hand, the performance was particularly high in distinctive music. For the drawer and appreciator with design education, on the other hand, the performance was equable regardless of distinctive music. It indicates that the drawer and appreciators with design education would be able to express and evaluate details in drawing by using expertise through design education.
