Abstract
I could examine the package design over indigenous products of Akita city by participating in Sextiary Sector project held by Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Akita city since 2012. As a result, the author consider the WAGASHI package of Akita City has a protection function but it doesn’t really work to fulfill the function of advertisement, which is significant as a package. This is because it is the reality that manufacturers in Akita are not really willing to invest their money in package design. Considering this situation, this research aims to suggest the package design of low-price products having advertisement function, which is the most demanded in package design.
