Abstract
There is a concept known as visual literacy which is a visual grammar for art appreciation. In primary education, they strive for the acquisition of diverse perspectives, and in higher education, methods for sharing what one felt or thought during visual experiences are sought after. These do not particularly theorize about the captioning and description for interactive exhibits, such as media art. In this study, we did some testing for the captions in interactive exhibits. We had students design captions, which are not only character information but also include images. In addition, we had the students develop those captions and create captions using movie.
