Abstract
This paper is focused on the research of the extinguishing cross-stitch clothing culture of Huayao Tribe, Hunan Province, People's Republic of China. To re-recognize the recycle wisdom found in aspects of the production, usage and disposal of cross-stitch clothing, the authors have executed some field investigations in the above mentioned region. Based on the raw findings, discussions and conclusions are given. It was revealed that the cross-stitch clothing is a kind of culture carrier, which is originated from the careful observations and flexible applications of the surrounding natural resources. Based on this understanding, the authors hope the local residents can apply it in boosting the promotion the local cultures.
