Development of web system to support 3D modeling with three.js

Abstract

It is said that the spread of digital fabrication tools accelerates a personal manufacturing. But, in order to make something with them, it is necessary to design a product and learn how to create a digital data. Those processes may be high barriers for beginners. Therefore, I developed a prototype for creating 3D data on a web browser using three.js. You can easily create 3D data by customizing pre-made models with it. I propose this approach as a way to help beginners create their own products.
