We have produced a learning support system for children using the AR technology in the aquarium. This contents consist of (1) 3DCG animations that illustrate the physical features of penguins, such as the color and pattern of their feathers, in detail, and (2) 2DCG animations that lightly illustrate the penguin's life, such as eating and defecating. And we experimented with the social implementation of this system at Nagasaki Penguin Aquarium (Nagasaki, Japan). The results of Our experiment at least confirm that this system improve children's interest and learning effectiveness.
